SHOULD YOU MISS THE M17 TURNOFF ON THE N2 THEN: -

Still on the N2, the next off-ramp you get will be the M52 RAAPENBERG / PINELANDS. You will see a City Lodge on your right hand side. Take this off-ramp to the left following the Pinelands signboards. You will be circling back over the N2 from where you have just come (now beneath you). Proceed with this road over the Railway Bridge at the traffic lights. Continue down Forest Drive passing through the next set of traffic lights at the BP garage on your left and further on, those at the Caltex Garage and large shopping complex on your right. Still on Forrest drive, look out for a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights. Just passed this pedestrian crossing, take the next turning to the RIGHT into Margaret Place (You will have an open park on your left side). Continue down until you reach a T-junction (Margaret Avenue). Turn left into Margaret Avenue. “Margaret House” is the third house down on the right hand side overlooking the park. You will recognise it as the only double story house and it has three dormer windows and a green paling fence and sliding gate market “23 Margaret Ave” in gold on the gate.

DIRECTIONS TO MARGARET HOUSE

There are two easy routes to follow to get to Margaret house: -

From the airport, take the N2 into Cape Town. Keep going until you see the the overhead direction post offramp indicating M17 Athlone / Jan Smuts drive. Take the slipway that runs parallel with the highway under the bridge/flyover (NOT THE ROAD UP TO ATHLONE) for a short while and just as you go under the overhead bridge you will see a direction board indicating Jan Smuts/Pinelands Off-ramp. Take this off-ramp to the left and you will circle around onto Jan Smuts drive heading for Pinelands. Keep on Jan Smuts drive, following the Pinelands signboard until you approach a traffic light intersection (In front of you is the Old Mutual Head Office on the right). At this robot, you will get a slipway to the left into Forrest drive. Take this slipway into Forrest drive and about 80m down the road, you will get a robot. Continue with Forrest drive a short way, until you see an open park on your left with trees. At the end of the park, the first road you get to the left is Margaret place. Turn down Margaret place until you get to the end of the road, which is a T-junction with Margaret Avenue. Turn left into Margaret Avenue. “Margaret House” is the third house down on the right hand side overlooking the park.
